Doisneau

In class we have been working on photographs and photographers and our teacher told us to do a presentation about Robert Doisneau. I did it with Manex and it was very difficult because we didn't like the photographers technique. However, I think that we did a good job.




Now, I’m going to talk you about a picture that I took that is the firts photo that was took by us. In this photo, you can see a very similar photo to the one that Doisneau strated taking after the WWII because it’s a very playful photo where you can observe children playing in the street of a city. It’s also a spontaneous photo a caracteristic that was common in Doineau despite the fact that critics has argued more than once if he uses to prepare his photos, specially the one of the kiss that I told you before. In this blac and white photo we can see six chlidren playing in la Plaza San Telmo in Donosti. The three children at the front are playing with the roulette. One is pushing it while other one is trying tu put on the roulette and the other one seems to be thinking about something due to her facial expression. The two children at the middle-back are trying to go up the structure amd maybe tongo down then jumping or down the swing. Finally, we can see the child in the background that is watching how the other two are going up and maybe she is upset because she wants to do the same but she can’t because it’s not big enough to go up. In conclusion, we can see a photo that has the same characterustic of the ones that Doisneau had taken, because it is in black and white and it shows us children playing in the street without parents looking after them.
